I saw you post this a while ago and meant to post back to it then. Craigslist is a shit place to look for music jobs (and other jobs in the arts). You basically have to go directly to the source, and it can take forever and be a pain in the ass, but once you get a job, it's fucking sweet. It took me like 7 months, and applying for multiple jobs there, but now I work for the Seattle Symphony teaching little kids all sorts of stuff about instruments and music history, and whatever else! My friend who works at SAM asked about jobs and they didn't post any online. They were all in a board in the back room and you just had to go ask in person to get a job there. Anyway, the point is, if you haven't already (in which case you're probably not reading this), you should just write, or go in person to where ever you really want to work, and you can probably at least get an internship there.
